Today we setup Cloud9, giving us access to a FREE Linux development environment in the cloud. Afterwards, we run some commands to ensure the project was set up correctly. We build a new Ruby on Rails application, and learn how to commit it to our local version control (GIT). Afterwards, we check to ensure the commit went through as intended, and push the repository to GitHub where it is secure and safely backed up.
