    For those used to 12-hour clock formats, you replace'H:i:s' with 'g:i:s A'.

    $actual_time = date('g:i:s A');
    echo 'The current time is '.$actual_time;

    <php
    date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London');
    $actual_time = date('H:i:s');
    echo 'The time is '.$actual_time;
    ?>

    There is no need for the $time variable.
    Also find the list of supported time zones here : http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php
    ..and just insert your time zone in the date_default_timezone_set function

    Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Paris' for '2.0/DST' instead in D:wampwwwyoutube learn thenewbostonles58TimeStamps.php on line 4 Call Stack: 0.0036 324072 1. {main}() D:wampwwwyoutube learn thenewbostonles58TimeStamps.php:0 0.0037 324232 2. date() D:wampwwwyoutube learn thenewbostonles58TimeStamps.php:4 The current time is 11:40:23

    "time" Is not necessary to use, you could just write date(H:i:s).
