    I used the same code except I used return 0; at the end.
    Now this stupid piece of shit keeps telling me there is an error "first defined here" in the line with main(void) {
    Can someone tell me what the problem is, cause he keeps doing that in every program I try.

    This is how I teach myself things:
    Step one: I look at a tutorial
    Step two: figure out how it works
    Step three: experiment with it
    Step four: make my own
    Step five: make more to get better at it
    That's how I learned C!!

    This probably not be what your video is about ….but i am writing a program and every time i ask the user to enter a value and its wrong to not have the loop, looping and packing the screen with the same line of code I USED system("cls")

    is there a way to make only what is in the loop go away ??

  19. Marcus Hendriksen Avatar

    So if getch() can be used to input data, can you create a variable defined by it, like int x=getch() and perform operations with it? If so, is there a way you can have multiple variables defined by this function without having all the variables overwritten each time you give input for one?

  20. Space Kitty Avatar

    I think getch() is a Windows this. It's best to use getchar() since it's more universal. Although getchar() won't update until you press return.
