    Hello, i have a little issue, i selected the option to show the excerpt of the blog entrance at the home page, but is not showing. when i turn on the builder it shows, i save and then i refresh and the excerpt is not apprearing. what an i do?

    Great tutorial!!! I am struggling to sort one thing out….. for some reason, I have this text "This may be a good place to introduce yourself and your site or include some credits.

    I tried the mobile responsive thing for the parallax in the end but the second duplicate row does not disappear on my desktop. I did exactly the way you said. But somehow I can't get rid of it.

    Hi Hogan, what an exceptional tutorial. It really is Great, thank you for sharing with the world.I am in the process of building my website and am stuck on the Blog post section. I cannot change the Social Links from its default setup to my customized version. I don't have a twitter account, but I have Pinterest. However I my Blog post does not display the changes I have made in Settings, changing the Twitter icon to Pinterest.
    Can you please help.

    hey I don't have the option to select header 1. The only option I have is Paragraph for the text of the text module. Do you know why this is?

    I don't quite know whether it's me or young people who are unaware that when doing a tutorial for others to follow, care must be exercised in how one speaks and how one moves the cursor to point to the item about to clicked on. The assumption that everyone knows exactly where or what is being discussed is ludicrous and shows a definite lack of people skills, and a total lack of instructional system design. So, how are you going to make a video that is clear, concise and worth my attention along with millions of other curious learners ?. Ask an elderly skilled person with whom you have made some form of contact and thought that they were too old to learn. Then, try to teach them by using "questions" and "answers".

    Still the same result. Everything else is working including Adsense. I'm running 4.8.1 WP and 1.8.3 Ultra.

    Hi Hogan. I'm part way through this and it's looking great. Just 2 questions please. There seems to be an extra line above the images (and below the top nav bar). Any ideas on how to reduce that? The other question is how to I get a SSL? I'm also with Hostgator (on a hatchling plan). Thanks very much. James.

    QUESTION-
    first i want to thank you for the awesome videos, I got my first site up and running because of your videos.

    Im using the free version of Themify and I'm starting to notice some glitches and its getting difficult to do basic functions on the backend of my site . I want to buy the updated version of Themify but a little nervous about loosing all my content on there. Any suggestion on what I should do before Upgrading the Theme so I wont loose all my work?

All of my blog's featured images are appearing black and white and when I put a cursor on the images, it regains its original colors. Is there any way to remove those settings ?

    I hate to ask another question but I've tried everything. Read all the post on the internet I can find, the FAQs etc I cannot get the Easy FB livebox working. All I get is 3 smalls boxes that animate left to right like the blinking taillights of a GT mustang. Is this plug in not working with the new API?

    Hi Hogan.

    First of all well done on this video it has been very easy to follow and informative.
    But i have one problem . i have been following the video step by step, but when I have got to the point were I have to enter text which is around 52.30 minutes I turn on the themify builder and move the text module in to place . type in the texts i want to be displays, but when i go to set it to heading 1 i do not get that option to do so. i click on toolbar toggle but in the box it just says paragraph.

    Please could help me with any ideas why have not got the option of the heading 1

    I am about 52:30 into the video, the point were we add text and assign it to header 1. Problem I have is in the drop down menus I do not have headers only paragraph.

    I need major help… im halfway done with the tutorial but when i try to add the slider and my photos, its not visible at all, even though its saying i uploaded the photos just fine… i followed each step carefully and even went back several times… also the top nav bar is in a different position like a drop down menu and i have no clue how to change it how you have it shown here… please please assist when you can! i really just want to set up this page and start blogging, thank you for your time.

    Everything you've done to this point is perfect but I'm not getting the same results you are on adding text. At 52:30 you type in Discover then toggle the tool bar and choose Heading 1. When I do this I get nothing but paragraph there is no drop down with the various sized font. Any clues?
