Thank you for actually forcing problems to occur and showing us how to handle them! A lot of people just code and never run into any problems because they already know exactly what to type. Thanks to you, I'm one step closer to creating my own app. I'm gonna have so much clout lol 🙂

Very informative videos, I have completed all. I added another button for reset to reset the score and also to return the cards into back mode.

    I can't thank you enough !

Great tutorial, I wish I'd had these videos three years ago when I first started learning Swift. This was much easier to follow (and much shorter and concise, too)!

I have everything showing correct except for -if leftNumber > rightNumber. I keep getting a Declaration error saying if isn't a declaration.

First Swift / Xcode tutorial that has actually helped me. I'm a CS major so I already knew the logic and data structures to go along with it but honestly, Xcode is a Beast of its own and this was a fantastic series. Great work and keep it up!

Hey Christ great tutorial followed it all the way through! Just a question though: how do you export the app to your iphone?

  15. Ken L Avatar

Thanks Chris, I do really have a nice time to creating the app.

As a very beginner and would like to learn more about iOS app development, which series of your videos is recommended as 2nd module?

I've just completed this series. I'm a web-developer that want's to learn iOs development. The playground parts were a little boring for me (yeah i know, it's for non programmers), but all other topics were very well covered. Thank you very much!

    Hey Chris,

enjoyed your tutorial very much! I was wondering if you are planning to do some kind of series that continues where this series stops. I looked for a similar style of videos on more advanced topics that covers things as thoroughly as yours does but sadly enough I didnt find any.

Do you know any YouTube'rs that teach how to make app?

Thanks, much, for these 17 or so videos—just went through them in 2 days and learned much more than if I had stumbled along on my own. As it happens, I'm going to be working with an experienced developer named Chris…that was the icing on the cake!

I always wanted to learn how to make ios apps and even tho I already had some experience with java and python, I think your video is very informative (you would show syntax error and how to approach them) these are very important cuz every language is slightly different. Your video is very easy to follow and I love them! Keep it up and I am going back to watch more of your video!

Hello! Big fan of your tutorials, information is always very well presented! I have been following your account for a bit, recently finishing this series along with the basics of swift as well as objective C. I understand how to go about coding for many aspects of apps, however, suppose I was programming a video editing application, how would I go about developing a "import" button for the user? Could you possibly do a series on creating an app of this nature?

Did anyone think about writing a code where a little window would pop up and declare a winner? im working on it and i don't really know where to start.

Well as an old dude that can barely use an app I was able to follow along and create the War app under your tutelage…job well done! Now I need to plan what I want my app to do for my photography business and decide how much more of your courses I will need…if they are like the intro with the War game it should be pretty painless to create the app I need to help my business run more efficiently!

Hey Chris, great tutorials. Thanks to you I was able to make my first app. I'm sorry to ask you this as you have probably been asked it many times: I was wondering if you are planning on making an updated series on how to make a soundboard app? Thanks.

This took me so much longer to work through than it should have. But I've finished. Thanks so much Chris. Hope to develop more in-depth apps in the future, but this was a good one to start with. Thanks again!
