Renaissance Mobile App Review (AppMakr)

It’s time for Jade’s APP OF THE WEEK! – 1st – 5th Oct, 2013

This week, I found a great mobile app created with the DIY AppMakr, – Renaissance Mobile app. It’s available now for Android, iPhone and any HTML5 compatible smartphone.

This mobile app is aimed to keep close communication between the Renaissance Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound School and the parents of students in this program.

Though the design of this app looks rather plain and simple, it’s got bucketful of info such as – News feeds, Contacts, Calendar of events, Documents, Website and associated partners’ links and even an extensive Lunch Menu! They also linked their social media feeds like Twitter and Facebook to this app.

This app is another outstanding example how anyone from a school, workshop, PTA association or from the education industry, wants to build their mobile app but doesn’t have the programming knowledge, can quickly create one using the DIY AppMakr.
