    using event.getActionCommand().trim(); is good housekeeping for the URL string. This prevents the user from adding unnecessary white space (or spaces) at the end of the string.

    but this browser is not working properly for HTML files…for e.g. google opens in blue screen,bing is opened with certain codes….please help me to fix this problem

    SimpleBrowser, may not be as nice as Chrome of Firefox, but definitely beats IE:P
