i have latest version of udk .i have updated my graphic drivers but when i click on play from here there was only black screen appears and no player is there what should i do

I have the latest version of UDK and when I click play from here, I don't get any player or weapon or HUD no matter which game type I click. I also don't have any maps like how you were able to open one up in a previous tutorial. Is there some sort of pack or something I need to download? if so, where do I find it?

another way to get your gun, click "view" next to "file" and "edit". then click "world properties" then expand "game type". now just edit "default game type" to UTDEATHMATCH" or whatever. this will get you your gun and stuff. you can also set the "game type for PIE" to whatever you pick.
